As a significant milestone in their collaboration, Vimass and HFSecurity have officially entered into a commercial partnership for palm vein scanners, laying a solid foundation for building a nationwide smart biometric payment network in Vietnam that eliminates the need for mobile phones and cards.
The palm vein scanner from HFSecurity, the core product of this collaboration, represents a major leap forward in contactless identity verification. Developed by HFSecurity and deeply customized for Vimass's core payment system, the device boasts superior security and integrates flexible connectivity options such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
During bilateral talks in Hanoi, the engineering teams from both companies conducted rigorous technical discussions and successfully resolved complex system integration and hardware/software compatibility issues, aiming to comprehensively optimize device performance, synchronization efficiency, and transaction processing speed. As Vietnam accelerates its transition to a cashless society and a digital economy, this collaboration aims to directly embed the palm vein scanner into Vimass's extensive nationwide infrastructure network.
By integrating HFSecurity's cutting-edge biometric hardware technology with Vimass' core financial network, the two companies have jointly launched a highly secure and seamless "Wave to Pay" experience. Consumers no longer need to carry cash, bank cards, or even smartphones.
