Do members need to stop and search for their membership card or phone while running and carrying their sports bags? A Russian chain gym has decided to completely change this experience. They chose the three roll gate control system provided by HFSecurity, and the attendance terminal supports facial recognition and QR code scanning. The device interface, voice, and startup screen have been deeply customized according to the requirements of the gym brand. Members can quickly enter by swiping their face or presenting their mobile QR code, while completing check-in records.
The gym has multiple branches in the local area, and a large number of members gather to enter during the morning and evening rush hour every day. The original practice was for security or front desk personnel to verify membership cards, which took about ten seconds per person. In case of forgetting or demagnetizing the card, on-site inquiries were required, and the queue often formed outside the door. What's even more troublesome is that some members lend their cards to friends, resulting in fake private parish and group class appointments, and real members may not be able to make the appointments. The management has been looking for a solution that can improve traffic efficiency, completely eliminate card swiping, and provide customization.

Both methods do not require contact with the device and there is no worry of losing the card. The front desk can also print temporary QR codes for visitors or experience course students, with traceable records.
Customers are more concerned about brand image and do not want third-party brand elements to appear on the device screen. HFSecurity has made two customizations according to customer requirements:
The startup animation and standby wallpaper have been replaced with the customer's logo graphic and brand color.
All menu text, prompt statements, and error alarm voice have been changed to Russian, and the wording is in line with local member habits.
These customizations can be completed on HFSecurity's production line without the need for the gym to hire someone to modify the software themselves. The customer received a plug and play device that looks like their own developed access control system.
Every time a member passes through the gate by facial recognition or QR code scanning, the system backend will automatically record the member's entry time, exit time, and duration of stay. Management personnel can log in to the attendance software platform to view the visit frequency of each member on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, as well as to calculate the foot traffic curve of the entire store at different time periods. If separate control is required for private and VIP areas, a whitelist can be set up in the background - only authorized members can enter the gate of the area by facial recognition, and others cannot pass even if they have a card. In case of abnormal situations such as multiple invalid QR code scans or late night intrusion, the system will push an alarm to the administrator's mobile phone.
The winter in Russia is a test for outdoor or semi outdoor equipment. HFSecurity uses a wide temperature motor for the three roller brake, and the internal lubricating oil will not solidify at low temperatures. The QR code scanning window has added anti fog heating strips, which prevent the lenses from fogging up when there is a large temperature difference between indoors and outdoors. In practical use, even at temperatures below minus 20 degrees outdoors, the gate still responds sensitively and has not experienced any jamming or scanning failure.
